BOOT CAMP: Edge Metal 101 (613 Classroom)

Date: March 4, 2024

Led by Robert Merritt in the 613 classroom.

Edge Metal 101 focuses on the Baker Best Practices (BBP) used to install edge metal on commercial buildings. Participants will learn the BBP through guided instruction and hands-on repetition. Basic installation procedures include; drip edge outside and inside corners, gravel stop inside and outside corners and coping with endcap.

Boot Camps are week-long training sessions (M-F) held in Raleigh at our training facility that focuses on intensive hands-on skills acquisition. Participants should wear clothing appropriate for a Baker worksite and are encouraged to bring their own PPE. Participants can also bring their own tools if desired, but on-site tools will also be provided.
