Robert

Senior Training Specialist
I work with a team to help create eLearning content, produce and host boot camps, and instruct students during Mobile Trainings. I have been with Baker since March 2020 and have never had a bad day! I am originally from upstate NY (not NYC) from there I have bounced around and experienced a lot. I was in the US Navy from 2009-2014 (Military Police) where I was stationed in Washington State and then Japan. I have a teaching degree from Bethune Cookman University (2018) and currently live in Northeast Raleigh with my wife Megan and my dog, Olivia.

Drew

Salesforce Success Manager
I work with teams across the organization to deliver Salesforce and Field Service training at every level — from Foremen and Construction Managers to Department Heads, General Managers, and Regional Vice Presidents. I bring nine years of experience at Baker and a focus on helping people get comfortable with the tools they use every day. I grew up in Roanoke, Virginia and have called New Bern, North Carolina home for years. Outside of work, I enjoy life on my beef cattle farm with my wife, Catherine, and our dog, Maggie.

George

Senior Training Specialist
I work with Baker employees to develop their skills while teaching “the why” for Baker standards and current details in Single Ply. I also contribute to planning eLearning, boot camps, and mobile trainings. I started at BRC in 2014 in the service department as a helper and was promoted to foreman in two years. In June 2019, I turned to my current position. I was born in East L.A. and raised in Florence, CA, until I moved to NC in 2004. I currently live in Johnston County with my wife and my 3 children. Always good work!

Kelli

Purchasing Manager
I work with teams across Baker to develop and implement SOPs that support consistency. Through eLearning and training sessions, I help employees confidently navigate key processes and serve as a support resource. After joining Baker in 2014 in the Renewable Energy Division, I moved into our Purchasing Department in 2018. With this experience, my role has expanded to include a focus on Training & Development, where I enjoy supporting employees to grow and succeed. I love traveling with my husband and our daughter and spending time outside with our two dogs, Penny and Dexter.

Julie

Director of Training and Development
I work with our training team to develop eLearning content and build modules for all departments. I manage our LMS and Academy website. In my role as Director, I lead training for our sales team, coordinate schedules across programs, and support user adoption. I have a Masters of Education from UNCW and before coming to Baker, I spent 14 years teaching 2nd & 3rd grade. I joined Baker in 2023 in a training & support role and have loved finding new ways to help people grow. I live in Wilmington with my husband and our dog, Fen.

Michael

Vice President of Professional Development
In my role as VP of Professional Development, I focus on building strong teams and growing people from the inside out. My connection to construction runs deep — I grew up around it, sharpened my skills working with a general contractor, and brought that foundation with me when I joined Baker in 2014. That perspective shapes how I approach everything from designing training programs to developing future leaders. I enjoy watching people grow, gain confidence, and succeed in their careers. Outside of work, I recharge by spending time outdoors with my family.
