BOOT CAMP: TPO 101 (613 Classroom)

Please note that attendees of the TPO Bootcamp should be able to efficiently perform the following skills:

  • Safety setup
  • Laying plates
  • Screw gun
  • Sawzall
  • Insulation layout
  • Tear off, power equipment
  • T-bar/sealant
  • Adhesive application
  • Basic handling material

By registering for the TPO Bootcamp, you acknowledge that the attendee has a working understanding of the listed skills.

TPO Boot Camp focuses on the Baker Best Practices (BBP) and gives basic knowledge of TPO details. Time will be spent on primary details, including 2″ hand welds, inside corner, outside corner, and field wraps.

Boot camps are week-long training sessions (M-F) held in Raleigh at our training facility that focuses on intensive hands-on skills acquisition. Participants should wear clothing appropriate for a Baker worksite and are encouraged to bring their own PPE. Participants can also bring their own tools if desired, but on-site tools will also be provided.
