Edge Metal 101 focuses on the Baker Best Practices (BBP) used to install edge metal on commercial buildings. This intro-level boot camp is a blend of Baker Best Practices (BBP) and industry standards. Instruction will be concentrated on the proper measuring, cutting and installation of drip edge, gravel stop and coping. Participants engaged in this boot camp will have solid foundational knowledge in the application of edge metal.
Boot Camps are week-long training sessions (M-F) held in Raleigh at our training facility that focuses on intensive hands-on skills acquisition. Participants should wear clothing appropriate for a Baker worksite and are encouraged to bring their own PPE. Participants can also bring their own tools if desired, but on-site tools will also be provided.
